Mom in WARavensdale, WAAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A great book for busy families to connectOctober 5, 2011Mom in WARavensdale, WAAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5After a careful review of the various devotional offerings for teens on CBD, I decided that FUEL would be the best choice for our family. I wanted a devotional that had "meat" in it, that would cause you to "search your heart", that contains "real-life" issues, but that wouldn't take more than 10 minutes to enable us to go over the lesson before my 13 year old heads off to school. FUEL meets these requirements, and I feel like my son is Spiritually prepared as we send him off in to the world each day.
George Dean4 Stars Out Of 5January 6, 2010George DeanI have been doing this devotional for a couple of weeks. It doesn't go way in depth in the scriptures but has meat to it. I wanted something for me and my 12 year old son to do together. There is enough to keep him interested but is not preachy or long-winded. It is not like others with short stories that don't seem to tie in the Word. It does however get to the point and allows for additional teaching. I like the questions it asks and they are not simple yes or no. They prompt good discussions.
Mary Ann5 Stars Out Of 5June 30, 2008Mary AnnThis is a great devotional! It can be as short at 10 minutes or as long as 30 minutes depending on the discussions. I find that the topics are helpful and relevant to both the teens and parents. It's a wonderful tool to get your teens talking more in detail rather than just "yes", "no" answers. I highly recommend it.
Lori Victoria5 Stars Out Of 5September 18, 2007Lori VictoriaThis is a great devotional for older teens. I am always glad that the 10 minute devotion usually goes to 30 with my teens. We really can get into some of the discussions. Very easy to get into a routine with this help. Would recommend it highly.
