The Little Women Devotional is an excellent book to accompany The Little Women book by Louisa May Alcott.

I think it would be an amazing gift to a young woman especially! (or a teen)

I'm a great grandmother and I loved both books!

The devotional is a quality book, hard cover, beautiful illustrations and a perfect size, not too big, not too small.

I took m time in reading this particular book sent to me by the publisher for review, but for no compensation. It was a bit confusing as to whom the age of audience it was written. After receiving it, I glanced through, looking at the vignettes, and thought them delightful and started reading, thinking all the time that this was written for a younger audience. Since I had been an 8th grade teacher, I really thought from looking at the illustrations that they were appropriate for that age group. As I started reading, I found that to be a poor first impression. Some of the daily devotionals were written for adults, so I didn't feel that the sketches did not fit the target audience.

Based on the writing alone, I thought many were thought-provoking and I was wishing for space to write my responses, but there was none.

This was an interesting devotional for one of my favorite childhood books, as I read most of Louisa May Alcott books before I was in 7th grade. However, the audience was not that of a child, and I was a bit disappointed.

What a wonderful uplifting devotional! It has a passage from the book Little Women, Bible verses that will lift you up, personal application, and a prayer. This book would make a wonderful gift.
