Tell us a little about yourself. I am a Christian,I love reading and writing.My all time favourite book is the bible.I believe it is pulsating with life,rich with poetry.Easily applicable and is indeed a mirror that engineers change. I wish every one would read and study the bible.
What was your motivation behind this project? What motivated me to write was the understanding that thoughts,words, imagination are very powerful tools and it is written that God saw "the thoughts of the imagination of their hearts was continually harmful". "As a man thinks he is..." "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" "these people honour me with their lips but their hearts are far from me." Praying in the secrecy of your heart,knowing that God knows all things, all unspoken words all things done in secret. That God is able to take a heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh,the contrast is amazing to me and the power of God to effect change in any person.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My hope is that people will return to the bible and understand how much God loves all the families of the earth.If every one that read "Destined to Win" made a decision and actually started to study the bible with a desire to know God for themselves,that would be mission accomplished.Love, joy, peace the things humans desire can only be found in the Word.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Working on this project made me choose to be thankful, love people,helped me pray for people privately and it helped me realize that writing is a gift from God that helps the writer as well as the reader. I want to walk with God and talk to him,I want to hear him in every area of my life.The book was completed in 2000 and my husband got it published in 2008.The best book in the whole wide world is the bible which every teacher,politician, writer, actor,student should study..Every one
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I believe that God inspires people.Some films are so powerful that I find myself inspired to write a poem.Talented people who just want to perfect their arts inspiring.I love listening to people and hearing them.and sometimes I am amazed at how alike we all are and how desperately we all long for what is true, wonderful, pure.I love reading motivational books. I remember reading my dad's books as a young child, and I was fascinated by them.People every where inspire me but God inspires people.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I always like to examine myself, my thoughts,and my actions,I think I know me so well,but in all honesty I am merciful to myself because I understand me,to understand some one else,to imagine where someone else is coming from is something that would make us understand how frail and how strong we as mortals are.
