Terri Freda5 Stars Out Of 5Destined to Win: How to Embrace Your God-Given Identity and Realize Your Kingdom Purpose is a little lengthy but very explanatory.April 3, 2017Terri FredaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I truly enjoyed another of Kris Vallotton's books. I, however, would call this more than a book but a handbook. It takes you through steps to identify who you are, what you are doing and how you are accomplishing it. The steps are easy to understand and practical. He brings these to life with personal stories and Scripture. HIs focus on 'your people" provides a strong grasp of our need for others for destiny. He ask questions that enable you to look deep within yourself for growth and personal healing. And he deals with catch phrases within the church that have misdirected, confused and even derailed those seeking their God given destines.
I highly recommend this book for anyone at any age because it encourages and equips you in whatever season of life you are traveling. I purchased this book here at Christianbook. But I have since received a copy of the e-book and another copy of the book. I also plan to purchase this for friends who are in transition.
Melissa5 Stars Out Of 5So GoodFebruary 23, 2017MelissaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Kris knows how to put his passion into his books. This is the second book I have read by him and I enjoyed both very much.
He does a great job of sharing personal stories and sharing from the Word. For me that is what draws me into a non-fiction book.
I loved hearing about how he met Bill Johnson. That was an amazing story and his obedience is something that should inspire us all.
He reminds us that when we know who we are we will live as if we are destined to win because we are. We just need to grab a hold of that truth. Reading this book will stir you up and spur you to greater living through Jesus Christ.
A copy of this book was given to me. All opinions are my own.
AaronsChristianBlog5 Stars Out Of 5Destined To Win- Great TitleJanuary 25, 2017AaronsChristianBlogQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Destined To Win How to Embrace Your God-Given Identity and Realize Your Kingdom Purpose By Kris Vallotton.
Pastor Kris brings clarity to subject of identity and purpose which was once considered complex. I have throughly enjoyed reading this book and felt the need to make notes whilst reading as Pastor Kris elaborates the concept which brings another level of understanding. Destined to Win also takes into consideration scriptures which help the reader to also refer to the Bible whilst reading this book.
Destined to Win entices the reader to read endlessly, and practice the God-given identity. Kris has ensured that the layout of this book is an easy read and understandable. I find Kriss explanation sound and I would greatly encourage all who struggle understanding Godly purpose to read this title. This Book has impacted me greatly and I wish it would also impact you whilst reading. This is not a book in which you read and never read again. I would be using this book again and again. I was given a review copy from the associated publisher for a honest review.
MsDora4 Stars Out Of 5Destined to Win: How to Embrace Your God-Given Identity and Realize Your Kingdom PurposeJanuary 21, 2017MsDoraQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4It is impossible to read Destined to Win by Kris Vallatton and not make immediate changes in faulty thought patterns which make us doubt our ability to succeed. He makes it clear that we were born to win.
Citing Biblical illustrations, lessons from his personal life, and situations from his teaching-preaching ministry at Bethel School of Ministry in Redding California, Kris counsels his readers how to overcome the hurdles and detours which sabotage success. He shows us how to positions ourselves in the right atmosphere to move forward to our Kingdom destiny.
It is unfortunate that Kris chooses a book title that several other authors have used. Readers might think that his book is another run-of-the mill steps to success, but that is not the case. His emphasis is on knowing, embracing and presenting ourselves, even with our weaknesses and failures which God is able to restore and lead to our divine purpose. Readers may have heard this concept before, but Kris goes further and walks us through the process.
The most attractive feature of the book is its practical language and applications. He makes sense. He motivates both the certain and the uncertain about the road to their success. This book is a necessary guide who for anyone who believes that he or she is alive for a purpose.
