guy weale5 Stars Out Of 5May 16, 2011guy wealeQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I think that this book is great for all people to read. The way that Mr. Dallas explains the impact of perception versus the reality of the enviorment one may have been in growing up is really impotant to understand. I think that everyone in ministry should read this book, because this is still a taboo in many churchs. I think the reason that homosexuality is still taboo is that people dont understand it and, dont know how to minister to this group. If you pearsonally need guidence in the way to freedom or are a family member of a man that is stuggling, you must read this book. The way Mr. Dallas explaind the factors contributing helps stugglers to understand themselves better, but holds everyone accountable.

I was not expecting something so honest, so practical, so insightful, so moving. This is a topic that no one seems to talk about. Dallas does -- from the heart of experience, and in a way that enlightens. This is a must read, whether you 'think' you know someone in this category or not. It's a book that helps explain the impact of relationships -- past, present, and future. It would also helps the "Fighter" (his appropriate term) better understand himself, his struggles, his successes and failures in a way that no Sunday morning message is likely to enlighten. If more people read this book, more people would better understand, love, and encourage those who are "Fighters." This is a book you won't want to put down, and one you will go back to read again.
Molly Baltrusch5 Stars Out Of 5June 24, 2009Molly BaltruschThis book is very powerful - it is a book you don't put down. What an open and honest account of the homosexual lifestyle Joe Dallas was involved in, his struggle with it and his eventual freedom from it. Joe Dallas brings much to light from the Christian/Biblical standpoint and looks at medical views and all areas involved in roots of homosexuality. A very helpful book in understanding homosexual behavior. It gives hope to those willing to make the choice to leave same-sex desires with God's help.
