firewifeaz5 Stars Out Of 5great reading for all Christian women!July 7, 2015firewifeazQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This book is a must-read for all Christian women! It's got a ton of practical and applicable advice as well. The authors are on point with scripture and inspire women to live up to their full potential in Christ! One of my favorite quotes from the book is near the end, in the last chapter. "God's will for your life and mine is found in 1 Peter 3:4- we are to do whatever is necessary to cultivate 'the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.' " This book is truly a treasure and I plan to hand it down to my own daughter when she is at an appropriate age!

Tell us a little about yourself. I am the professor and establishing chairperson of the Department of Home Economics at The Master's College in Santa Clarita, California, where I have served since 1987. I am also the co- author of BECOMING A WOMAN WHO PLEASES GOD.
What was your motivation behind this project? Many women are unable to enroll in the Home Economics-Family and Consumer Sciences program at The Master's College. BECOMING A WOMAN WHO PLEASES GOD and its companion volume DESIGNING A LIFESTYLE THAT PLEASES GOD is a snapshot of our major, who purpose is to train Godly women spiritually, academically and professionally. It is my desire that readers will come away with a conviction that the biblical truths contained in the books' pages are as relevant today as the day they were penned.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? It is my passion that women will be excited about fulfilling God's special plan for them and will step out by faith and embrace it so that God's Word is not discredited by their lifestyles (Titus 2:3-5).
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Elizabeth Elliott, Elizabeth George, John MacArthur, Dorothy Patterson, John Piper, and Wayne Grudem.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: It is my passion to communicate God's message of hope to 21st century women! It is my prayer that the books readers will choose to enthusiastically embrace its contents.
