    Too much information

    Mom of two
I really liked book 3 and gave it to my 11 and 13 year old children to read after I read some of it aloud to them and pre-read the entire thing. Book 4 has very little information I actually want to share with them. I tore out a chapter or two and let them read those. Sharing pictures of a young girl's naked body is not something I feel comfortable giving to my teenage son!!!! I have talked with them about sex, but this book illuminates some things that should be mysteries.

So disappointed in this book! The books in this series geared for younger kids are sort of okay (the formats are odd), but this book was way too graphic, and the approach is just shockingly uncomfortable. We're a family that is very open on this topic, so the fact that it bothered us is notable. We would rather talk casually, but we thought having this series would bring up things we might have missed. First of all, each book is actually not appropriate for the suggested age, but is more appropriate for a few years older. This book included. Although I don't know if I would even give this book to any of our daughters until they are engaged. Or ever. I am sure there are better Christian resources out there.

This book has too much information in it for this age range. Our little girl is almost 11 and she didn't like reading book 3 so we couldn't even start this one. I put both books away and will pull them out again in about 6 mo.

While I think this is an excellent book, it still may be a bit mature for some children on the younger end. Especially boys. Consider your child and maybe go through the series a bit slower. I do feel that the series is written in an excellent, well formated way. At times a bit clinical which helps.

I have been a cbd customer for yrs and have come to trust them soooo much, however I would not EVER recommend this book. This entire series is so very highly inappropriate for the recommended age group. What happened to letting our kids be kids? I totally agree that we should be the ones to teach them about their bodies and sex but WOW!!! it really needed to be less detail for each age in this series. I ordered some other books when I ordered this set and the others were MUCH more beneficial for my family.
