Gods Divine Design for Dating and Marriage is an exhaustive answer to what God thinks about love and sexuality and provides a step-by-step process for building God-centered relationships. As they wandered through the wilderness, God provided Moses and the Israelites with instructions for the Tabernacle. More than a building, the Tabernacle was a sacred space for covenant. Its design provides modern believers with a blueprint for reflecting Gods glory through intimacy. You will:
- Gain the power to recognize and apologetically resist worldly images and messages about dating, marriage, and sexuality.
- Be entertained by biblical and modern examples of the best and worst of relationships, tracing problematic patterns that may be affecting your love life.
- Take a journey through the divinely-designed Tabernacle and learn to use its construction and symbolism as a systematic guide through seasons of singleness, courtship, and covenant. Gods Divine Design for Dating and Marriage is a beautiful blend of relevant facts, scriptural
insights, relatable pop-culture references, and personal anecdotes that provide a strong case for following Gods divine design in all your relationships.

God has clearly revealed wonderful insights and truths to the author which she shares in her book. This book is anointed and the author provides a lot of practical illustrates too which are helpful.
The only downside for me was that I did feel the Tabernacle analogy she uses was a bit too much for me to take in through the final chapter.
Overall, I strongly recommend this book. Armstrong has done a great job!

Chrystal Armstrong parallels God's systematic model of the tabernacle in the Old Testament to demonstrate His love for His chosen people with His New Testament design for love and marriage, a plan which is still relevant and applicable today. Chrystal redefines "love as divine, marriage as beautiful, and sex as sacred."
Candidly transparent Chrystal shares experiences of her own failures and frustrations through personal anecdotes. She also uses illustrations and stories of other indiviuals that reflect the pitfalls of relying on cultural influences and practices.
She warns of:
ââ¬Â¢ The impact of television on morality
ââ¬Â¢ The bold disrespect for the sanctity of sex in the lyrics of popular rap music
ââ¬Â¢ Demonic Influence
ââ¬Â¢ Dysfunctional relationships
She presents positive patterns for:
ââ¬Â¢ Comparing real love with its counterpart counterfeit love
ââ¬Â¢ Marriage love in light of covenant love and typology of the tabernacle
ââ¬Â¢ A systematic approach to courtship and marriage
Armstrong's work is thoroughly researched, well documented, articulate, and sometimes explicit. The book is an important expose and eye opening report for contemporary Christians. "God's Divine Design for Dating and Marriage" is a book for everyone: single, engaged, married, divorced, or separated.
