I was given this by a Pastor in regards to Major Depression. I could see how the booklet could possibly help a person with situation Depression, put in the hands of a person who was mentally ill the words spoken in this book could cause your loved one to come one more step closer to suicide. If at the time I read this booklet I was not already aware of the shortcomings in understanding Mental Health the Christian Community has, especially Pastors and Counselors this booklet would have been very detrimental and painful to an all ready ill person. Please be ware of whose hands you put this booklet in. If I could have given it less than one star I would have. please be ware; I have never reviewed a book before but this was too important.

Great little book to help someone who is dealing with depression and needs a word of hope. Short, but concise. This would be good for anyone dealing with depression or has given up on Christianity because of their struggle with depression. There is an evangelistic focus to it as well.

I would have liked the author to develop more content on this subject. 24 pages, in my opinion, are not enough to justify a serious look at a subject that is complex in nature. I found it to be rather simplistic. While it is a good overview, it lacks meat to put on the skeleton material presented.
