Death and Resurrection

The Bible comes alive in this delightful animated series The New Testament Bible Stories for Children. This series follows the life of Jesus, from his birth in a manger in Bethlehem to His crucifixion and subsequent resurrection in accordance with the scriptures. The Crucifixion: Jesus has been condemned to crucifixion and now carries the cross through the streets to Golgotha Hill. There He is crucified while His friends and Mary grieve for him. Jesus says, "Father, forgive them, for that do not know what they are doing"
"He said, 'It is finished,': and He bowed His head and gave up His spirit." John 19:30
The Resurrection of Jesus: Jesus is taken down from the cross and placed in a tomb that is sealed by a large rock. When the three women return three days later to anoint the body, they find the tomb open and the body missing. As foretold by scripture, Jesus has risen from the dead!
