Fortunately, God doesnt measure our worth by how we look. We have value simply because we are His children. The more we focus on getting our hearts right with the Lord and honoring Him, the more secure and confident we will becomeand the more we will exude true beauty.
In 30 Days to a More Beautiful You, former Victorias Secret Runway Angel Kylie Bisutti gives a complete inner-beauty makeover with succinct devotional readings designed to transform your heart, body, mind, and soul and put you on the path to becoming a happier, healthier, more beautiful you.
The perfect gift for every young woman, this devotional will forever change the way you define the word beautiful.

CherylAge: 45-54Gender: Female3 Stars Out Of 5Brief devotionsJanuary 8, 2015CherylAge: 45-54Gender: FemaleIve read Kylie Bisuttis book, Im No Angel, and really enjoyed it, so I hoped 30 Days to a More Beautiful You: A Devotional for Girls would be just as enjoyable. I dont want to say I was disappointed, because the devotions are useful for opening up dialogue with young girls, but the entries are too brief, only skimming the surface. Id like to have seen a more in depth discussion of each topic.
Other than a few references to sex, this devotional is well suited for tweens due to the simplicity.
Overall, this devotional gives a glimpse of potential studies and makes a nice accompaniment to Ms. Bisuttis, Im No Angel.
aklinslowAnchorage, AKAge: 18-24Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A must buy for all young ladiesAugust 29, 2014aklinslowAnchorage, AKAge: 18-24Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This companion booklet to Kylie Bisutti's autobiography, "I'm No Angel" is an incredibly timely devotional for young girls, teenagers, and probably beyond. Each day's devotion starts with Scripture and then Kylie applies it to life, often with a brief anecdote from her own life. She then ends each day with a "True Beauty Tip" that focuses on some aspect of Godly character.
I cannot recommend this highly enough and I will be purchasing many copies for the young women in my life who need encouragement on inward beauty rather than the hyper-sexualized ideal the world portrays.
reliWIAge: 25-34Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Good, but light.August 25, 2014reliWIAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4This was a fairly light devotional book, but I thought there were some good points in it. I liked her questions at the end--if given some thought they could be thought-provoking and for the serious-minded person, cause more Bible reading and heart searching to be done. I also thought her beauty tips at the end provided some good advice to follow. My views on modesty and Kylie's views on modesty are not the same, but I think there are some good points that can be gained from this book.
Jessica BatesAge: 25-34Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Encouraging and upliftingAugust 19, 2014Jessica BatesAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Kylie Bisutti, former Victoria's Secret Model and author of the book, I'm No Angel has written a new devotional just for girls. It is a 30 day devotional and it contains scripture references and "true beauty tips" to help you be more "beautiful" just as you are. I liked this devotional. It was short, yet still deep and inspiring.
One of my favorite quotes came after the day's devotional on Romans 12:2, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to rest and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will." Kylie talks about how trying to fit into what the world thinks we should look like causes us to lose our God given individuality. She says, "God has created us not to be clones, but to be unique individuals." This is a small little book, yet it has a big, encouraging message. I recommend it for any "girl".

I agree with the review by Sarah Bailey, as well as the review in July by HomeSchool Mom of 4. This book is fine for a beginning, and has very appropriate verses, but it seems to skim the surface rather than being an in-depth study. The points are good, but made simply. The encouragement is good, and thoughtful, although repetitive. Some concepts may be too advanced for young girls.
