David may have lived thousands of years ago, but his life has much to teach us today.

I have been fascinated reading this book. It has helped me think about things in my life. It is one I would read again and even again to catch something I might have missed.

This is a practical book that brings David's life to the forefront. However, it delves deeper in setting the foundation from which David's life is launched. A great library book to have in your Christian stock.

i trust everything that Chuck Swindoll writes and this book is a great portrait of David and how God worked in his life. i got it because i want to know more about how God built David's faith to the point of being able to face a 9 foot giant with complete confidence
