Being that this my first child I am desperately struggling with how I can be the best parent I possibly can. As my first daughter and child celebrated her 2nd birthday I am starting to see how my beliefs, attitudes and actions are starting to shape her. Questions are arising in my mind about how to protect her physically and mentally from the cesspool that is modern life. In a world that glamorizes shows about skinny models, pregnant teenagers, and adulterous spouses I feel like a lone man against the oncoming hurricane. This book is not a "Here are the answers" book but more of a story of one man's success in raising strong, loving and happy women. There are small sections on the end of each chapter to provide a starting point do discussion and other exercises to help get you started. This book has given me a greater understanding of what I need to be in order for my daughter to be all that she can be. If you are struggling in your relationship with your wife, this book will also be of tremendous help as it was for me! It has also opened up a doorway to Christ that I thought I had long since lost the key to.
