Rebecca ManeyGastonia, North CarolinaAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5A Perfect Summer Read!August 3, 2015Rebecca ManeyGastonia, North CarolinaAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Jade McKinley has returned home as a shadow of her former self and carrying a secret that is guaranteed to change her life forever. Rather than immediately announcing her return to the McKinley family, she shows up on the steps of Daniel Dawson's boat house. Daniel; strong, loving, compassionate, brotherly, mayor-of-Chapel-Springs Daniel. Jade needs a job and Daniel should be able to help her find one.
Daniel cannot decide whether to be ecstatic or furious that Jade McKinley has returned home to Chapel Springs, Indiana. Angry that he has not heard from her in over a year and thrilled to be in the same geographic space with the undeclared love of his life, she still has the ability to take his breath away. But life has obviously not treated Jade kindly in Chicago, and when Daniel becomes Jade's confident, he immediately knows that a future with Jade McKinley is all but lost.
Will love find a way for Jade to "dance with fireflies" once again? Will Daniel have to let Jade slip through his heart forever? Denise Hunter has crafted a lovely, engaging and memorable story that this reader has enjoyed more than once.
Kaylee5 Stars Out Of 5Dancing With FirefliesOctober 3, 2014KayleeQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I absolutely loved this book and I literally couldn't put it down! The tension between Daniel and Jade was so strong and the "will they? Wont they?" keeps you guessing until the last page. I read this book in one sitting and was sad when it was over. I would definitely recommend this book-and have to many friends and family! Looking forward to more from this author.

I'm surprised CBD is selling this as Christian fiction. It's very borderline Christian fiction. The author just kept repeating the same thing over and over again. I made myself finish it because I thought it was going to get better but, it didn't. It's just not that good.
