Product Description

Praising the Lord through dance is a spiritual principle that, when followed, yields rewards similar to tithing. When we follow God's command to dance and offer our bodies as living sacrifices to Him, God opens up the windows of Heaven, pours out His blessings, and manifests His anointing in the midst of us. You will learn about the dancing Bride of Christ, the Tabernacles of Moses and David, the temple of Solomon, and the prophetic dance. You will also learn how to encourage the pastor, the musicians, the dancers, and the congregation to flow together, how to start a dance team at your church, and much more.

A few weeks ago I wrote an erroneous review of this book. I'm sorry for it because after having decided to pick the book up again and reading it entirely, I realized that it was indeed godly. Because there were aspects of the book that were foreign to me I jumped to conclude that it was 'contrived'. Though I cannot feel the sense of it I was impelled to read the entire book and in the end came away believing that the writer was truly in the Spirit. There is much to glean from this book.

I loved this book! I also prayed for this book so I might be a bit biased. I was one who had a desire to dance for God. I'm very energetic and believe that when the Bible says to praise the Lord in the dance (Ps. 150:4) it doesn't mean figuratively. I went to a church that allowed freedom in worship so I could dance and express my praise to God, but I wasn't taught ballet or anything like that. All I had was this desire to praise God with all my body. This book helped me to be more focused in my pursuit of this desire. It can be channeled into the ministry of dancing in worship. Aimee teaches that it needs to be done in decency and in order. She even offers helpful aides in the back of the book. She goes through the different types of dancing for God and it all is presented from a scriptural standpoint. So if you have the desire to dance in worship to God I strongly suggest you get this book. It'll encourage you in your endeavor and answer your questions as to how to get started.
