Your students will be the exception to the perception of geography-illiterate Americans! Thirty-six units present various geographical concepts with plenty of opportunities for real-life reinforcement examples. A teacher page introduces the week's lesson and includes notes on the skills taught, background information, defined vocabulary words and an answer key. Map pages illustrate the skills emphasized and may be reproduced for answer questions; two geography questions are given for each day of the week, progressing in difficulty from Monday to Friday. Challenge questions are included, and often need to be independently researched.
Daily Geography Practice Looks at the world in spatial terms, places and regions, physical systems, human systems, environment and society and uses of geography. 160 reproducible pages, softcover. Grade 6.
Thirty-six transparencies (that used to come with the older edition of this book) are now available as a download with the code located on the inside of the front cover.

Cavazem5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent resource!March 10, 2017CavazemQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My kids love the Daily Geography books! They're simple, straightforward, and easy to follow. This website only carries the teacher's books, which is fine with me; I like the extra information and the pages are reproducible. Evan-Moor provides downloadable maps and other resources for free with the book, which is excellent. It's true that the answers are in the lesson, as it's a teacher's book, but Evan-Moor does also sell the student workbook without answers on their website.

Not sure what logic that is to Evan-Moor, but that's just insane to me as a parent. I want my daughter to think and work to figure it out on her own. Even their downloadable ebooks are set up the same way!! I switched to the downloadable ebooks but it's a pain to print off the lessons and three hole punch them to get them into a binder, and I still have to finagle things to cover the answers. It's ridiculous.
What would be nice is if the answers were removed from the intro page of each lesson, and were instead listed separately in the back of the workbook. Even better would be if the answers were on perforated paper so they could be torn out for parents/teachers to set aside.
Love the daily practice, but because they answers are in the workbook where the intro lesson is at and a child can see them, I am no longer buying Evan-Moor products.
