HomeschoolHeart33 Stars Out Of 5Just OkayMarch 31, 2017HomeschoolHeart3Quality: 3Value: 4Meets Expectations: 2For us, this spelling curriculum left a lot to be desired for our 3rd grader. She liked the daily activities that could be worked through each day over a 5 day school week, but it left us wanting a bit more. This program does have it's good points, as far as the layout goes; However, the material is so minimal that it could be easily covered in one day in a matter of 20 minutes (for us anyway). We will be using a different Spelling curriculum in the fall that has a little more meat to it.
Sarah5 Stars Out Of 5Very PleasedFebruary 22, 2017SarahQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We were very pleased with this spelling curriculum. It makes spelling interesting with a variety of activities. Phonics, writing, and proofreading are integrated into each lesson. We'll be using this again next year.
TinaMarie5 Stars Out Of 5A Spelling Curriculum that has it allJune 6, 2016TinaMarieQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This Curriculum is amazing! My daughter was having a hard time with her spelling last year but this year we decided to try Spelling Workout and she loves it we both love it. She went from getting C's on her spelling tests to getting A's and B's. This curriculum had reading, alphabetical order, definitions, rhyming, etc... the list goes on. I bought a phonics program but when I looked at this curriculum I realized that it has phonics as well. I think we've found our staple Spelling curriculum from here on out.
MomOnTheGo5 Stars Out Of 5Fun, Engaging Spelling CurriculumSeptember 1, 2015MomOnTheGoQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My son was so bored with spelling last year that I set out to find a new curriculum that would be both challenging and fun for him. He is a very advanced reader and speller, so I did choose to go up one grade level, as his grade level looked too easy. We are in lesson 3, and we both enjoy this curriculum! The teacher's guide is a little overkill for homeschooling - it seems to be written for a classroom environment. I wouldn't recommend purchasing that just for a homeschool setting. But the student book is wonderful - there is a spelling rule that goes along with each spelling list, and the activities are both fun and challenging. We have really enjoyed this!
