Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum has Scripture as its foundation, fully integrating biblical principles, wisdom, and character-building concepts into education.
Students move at their own speed through the self-instructional "PACE" workbooks. Following the mastery approach, PACEs are formatted for students to complete the exercises found throughout the workbook, take a practice "self test," and conclude with a "final test" (removed from the center) to measure understanding.
This 1st grade Pace & Key Core Kit includes both the PACE workbooks as well as the accompanying PACE SCORE Key answer booklets.
The "core" kit title refers to the "core" subjects of Math, English, Social Studies, and Science that are bundled here for convenience.
This first Grade kit contains the following PACE sets:

- Grade 1 English PACEs 1001-1012
- Grade 1 English SCORE Keys 1001-1012
- Grade 1 Social Studies PACEs 1001-1012 (4th Edition)

This kit is nearly identical to the ACE 24-Week (4 Subject) Complete PACE and SCORE Key Kit for Grade 1. The difference lies in that this kit includes Math PACES 1001-1003, while the other does not (since it's designed to follow the currently discontinued and unavailable "ABCs with ACE and Christi 12-week Program Kit" which already includes those three PACEs).
