The biggest Bible I own.

The CSB Illustrated Study Bible is a massive tome. It is packed front to back with colorful illustrations, 100 full-color maps, charts, timelines, 150 theological articles, and every page has a running commentary through the entire Bible. There's an impressive concordance, lengthy book introductions, and over 450 defined terms throughout. The typeset is clear and crisp.

The CSB has been gaining a lot of prominence over the last year, and for good reason. The translation is highly readable and lucid while still maintaining much of the original language's nuance and syntax. I'm personally hesitant to fully jump in until a revision has cleared up some of the typos in the text.

However, at $25 for the harcover edition, $40 for leathertouch, this is a study Bible that should be in use at seminary, in the office, at home. This edition doesn't replace the primacy of the ESV Study Bible, yet it's saving grace is that the CSB Illustrated does not try to replicate the ESV Study Bible. The CSB Illustrated Study Bible is original in content, and just as useful in it's own right.

I am most impressed with the CSB translation for many reasons. It's an excellent and accurate Bible translation and very up-to-date in language that communicates to our current generation. This Study Bible provides numerous helps to the Preacher, the Teacher and to the Student who desires to move ahead in their study and spiritual growth of God's Word. What an amazing Bible with great book introductions, balanced commentary, thousands of Scripture references, multitudes of colorful maps, charts, and much more. Also, there is a wonderful concordance and word definitions. You will not be disappointed. And the price is most reasonable. I do hope this edition will soon be offered in a genuine leather, indexed and a Presentation page. I am very pleased. First time being introduced to the CSB, I sure made a Great choice by getting the Baker.

The study notes are second to None, beautiful construction Great paper and the font size perfect for me...Can't stay out of it !!!!

This Bible has a vast expanse of knowledge. Even if you dont use the CSB translation its worth buying just for the study notes. Well worth the money
