Lorraine4 Stars Out Of 5Good BookAugust 27, 2016LorraineQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3The author does a great job of informing the reader about the life of Christ. The biblical references were true, but the author took some poetic license in building imaginative stories around the scripture verses. After reading this book I can see why it's classified as fiction. None of this was offensive, but it was outlandish, at times. The book can take some time to read due to the unnecessary extra details that the author seems to favor in his writing, Also, the Dr. Slaughter tends to use words that may require reading this book with a dictionary next to you. A shame, since his audience may lose interest, but don't. The life of Christ is worth sticking with this one.

So much so that it was difficult to read. It took me two weeks to read because I had to keep re-reading parts. Also if the writers of the scriptures were alive I think they could have gotten this man for plagiarism, they only thing he didn't do was but the scripture addresses in the book
It is a difficult read, but it is an excellent story (Christ's life) , as far recommending it I don't know.
