This novel is absolutely amazing. The characters are quirky, relatable, and incredibly realistic. The emotional struggle that the characters find themselves in as a result of Jenny’s unfortunate news is gripping and keeps readers turning pages. From the start of the novel, the reader is there. What’s more, there is nothing clichéd or predictable about this story. Everything – from characters to plot twists—is original and unique, demonstrating Holmes’ refreshingly strong and distinct voice. This fabulous story will keep readers wanting more.

Crossing Oceans has a strong emotional hook and will keep you reading until you wipe your eyes, blow your nose, and find your place again. This book will make you think, it will make you laugh, and it will definitely make you cry.
