Favorite Christian BooksCovina, CAAge: 45-54Gender: Female4 Stars Out Of 5Couldn't put it down!August 17, 2022Favorite Christian BooksCovina, CAAge: 45-54Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5Once again Lynette Eason has provided an action packed story!
I love the action and romance that Lynette Eason packed into this story.
Julianna Jameson has never lost a hostage. She is driven by an event from 15 years earlier that haunts her, especially now as the anniversary of that fateful day approaches.
Clay Fox carries his own dark secret. But as he and Julianna work together to find a killer they both have to come to terms with the past to move forward in the future.
The story has some nice twists that I didn't see coming. To tell you how good it is, I read it in about 2 1/2 days!
This is a book two in the series and utilizes characters from book one, however, it stands independently. This book is action backed and suspenseful, however, it is not as intense as book one.
Disclaimer: I received this book from the publisher but was under no obligation to provide a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

LGS5 Stars Out Of 5Highly Recommend!!August 17, 2022LGSQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Crossfire (Extreme Measures Book #2) - eBook. The action starts quickly in Crossfire, yet Lynette Eason develops her characters well during it. I loved Julianna and her high school senior sister Dottie and Clay and his sister Reese. The friendship that developed between Dottie and Reese just added a little something extra special to the story. Julianna and Clay both have baggage from their pasts that they need to unload. They are great characters, and I definitely wanted an HEA for them, which of course meant that they had to survive! I liked reading about the faith of the characters and how it develops. The author writes their faith in the story very naturally.. The plot has twists and turns that are nail-biting. Crossfire has lots of action and suspense and a great romance.
I received a copy through NetGalley and am sharing my opinion of this very well-written romantic suspense novel -

MarilynCoral Springs, FLAge: 35-44Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5SuspensfulAugust 17, 2022MarilynCoral Springs, FLAge: 35-44Gender: femaleThis review was written for Crossfire (Extreme Measures Book #2) - eBook. This is book 2 in the Extreme Measures series, however I believe it is a stand alone book, as I have not read book one and had no problem following along, I do however feel like I missed not only a good read but probably some history on some of the sub characters.
This book is full of mystery, drama, suspense and so much more, Eason does a great job in developing her characters and their dialogue. FBI agent Julianna James is an amazing negotiator, when she first meets the handsome Clay Snyder, she is not real sure what to think of him. Clay and Julianna find themselves working together on more than they ever imagined. When both their past come to haunt them they must learn to face them before they can move forward.
I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion. -
GrandaddyAAge: Over 65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Not Over Until It's OverAugust 15, 2022GrandaddyAAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Julianna was one of the best in her field, but sometimes being the best just is not quite enough. She struggled with events from her past that she could not seem to get beyond even though she was an excellent hostage negotiator. Now someone has come along who challenges everything she knows and believes about herself and others. Even her faith in God is being challenged. The life lessons in this story are worth the time to read the book and enjoy an exciting adventure in the process. I liked that there were characters who were not specifically identified until much later in the story, but they had a major impact. This increased the intensity of the suspense while trying to figure out who could be behind all that was going on. The action, romance, and faith made it an exciting read. While the characters were wondering if the nightmare would ever end, they were reminded indirectly that nothing is ever over until the bad guys are all rounded up. Julianna and Clay were the hero and heroine, but they could possibly have failed without their sisters, Dottie and Reese.
