She earned her masters degree in education from SUNY at Buffalo and her bachelors degree in education from Houghton College. She has always loved to write and finds writing for children has naturally developed out of her education and experiences. This story, although fiction, grew out of a real-life adventure in which she and her family camped across America. Gwen resides in upstate New York, with her husband, Paul, and two sons.
