i enjoyed the story, but would probably not recommend to my friends as the descriptions of victims was too gory.

Another exciting romantic suspense from Lynette Eason. I especially like the fact that the suspense stream is stronger than the romance stream. I enjoy the continuous action as the law enforcement officers seek to figure out who the serial killer is. Grace and Sam are kept so busy tracking clues that romance keeps getting pushed to the background. A romantic dinner is grabbing something at a drive-thru on the way to the next crime scene. Intertwined with the suspense of what will happen next, and whether they can identify the killer and put him behind bars before he strikes again, are all the surprise connections between characters in the story. We can all learn from the lessons Sam and Grace learned about dealing with situations in their personal lives. I will not share those here but encourage readers to watch for them. The story will keep your blood pumping, but don't miss the life lessons.

If you enjoy an intense story you've come to the right place with this book. Grace Billingsley is a special agent with the FBI and she's been tasked with helping to catch a serial killer. Grace is a psychiatrist and a behavior analyst and she uses those skills to come up with a profile as to who the possible killer could be. Along the way it becomes personal to her and the killer.

Sam Monroe is a prison psychiatrist that helps Grace and her team with the profile of the killer. Before long he is drawn into the case so much so that it endangers his family. To complicate matters both personally and professionally it just so happens that his own father is a convicted serial killer that was recently transferred to the prison where Sam works. Could this new serial killer be related to his father in some manner?

This was so well written. I stayed up way too late reading it because I just needed to know a little bit more before I could put the book down. There were complexities in the case that I didn't see coming but they made a huge impact on the overall story. You really can count on Lynette Eason for a nail biter of a story.

This is book three in the series and the connection between the books is a group of friends. Each book focuses on an individual and the rest of the friends pop in from time to time. With that in mind I think it is safe to say that this book can easily be read as a stand alone title. But of course I recommend that you treat yourself to the entire series!

I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review.

This book has everything that I love about this author! Nonstop action, subtle sizzling romance, and deeper woven spiritual themes are wonderfully written from start to finish. I found Sam to be an interesting character, especially consider his father is a serial killer. I also really liked his daughter Eleni. Grace is a great heroine with her brilliance and strength. I loved that the twists in this story kept me guessing and made my heart pound on more than one occasion. I thought there was great suspense that builds and builds, and I read late into the night to finish it. I cannot wait to see what this author pens next. Highly recommended!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell Publishing. Opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Special Agent Grace Billingsley a psychologist and behavioral analyst and Dr. of Psychology Sam Monroe have a strange connection. Grace tracks serial killers. While Sam knows about serial killers up close and personal because his father is a serial killer that Sam turned into the authorities while a teenager. They are brought together to stop another serial killer who is using some of the same MO as Sam's father. This is a psychological thriller that sends you on a roller coaster ride to the end. Just when you think you have it figured out whoops there we go again on the loopdeloop and we have to start over again. Feeling Sam's pain as he has to confront his father was hard, I cried buckets. This is spine tingling heart galloping read but worth it I highly recommend this to one and all!!1
