I would say this book is iffy... If you like theoretical theology, it's probably great for you. I came away from reading this book wondering, "What again did the author say?" And that was after going back to re-read large sections of it a second time in an attempt to understand it. While the premise is a fantastic thought - that God created the world to fill the world with His glory (or fullness) and even to expand His presence into a new realm of creation and humanity - the book overall left me feeling rather empty and unsatisfied. Perhaps it is just me. It seems like a good exposition of Scripture, but for some reason I just felt like I cannot really apply this information to anything in any way... Not sure what to make of this book, other than say: It is iffy, squishy. Could be Edwards in the original, or it could be that the author adapting it made it that way to suit his own perspective.

I'm not very good at writing fancy reviews so all I will say is you must read this book. It was excellent I learned so much. Ben Stevens did a fantastic job of writing down Johnathon Edwards words so anybody can understand. I sure hope he does a lot more like this.

The author of this book put way too much of his own opinion into writing. His theology is way off. Although, he likes to use many so called scriptures to back his statements up its heresy. He started claiming that God is not just. I would highly suggest not reading any of Ben Stevens books.
