My son is huge into studying astronomy. This resource allows him to connect what he sees in the night's sky and connect it with scripture. We are adding this in with our Survey of Astronomy course to add even more study. It is written in a nice format that is not only informative but also easy to read.

My 8th-grade middle school daughter and I both greatly enjoy astronomy. So, we were both very excited to read this book, however, once she started this book it was hard to keep her engaged. Although I very much enjoyed this book with all the scripture and information that was tied in, I would most likely recommend this book for high school and up.

The first couple of chapters are about what the bible teaches about stuff like the sun, moon, and stars as well as the purpose of heavenly bodies and helps to teach against Astrology (not to be confused with astronomy.) so it makes this book perfect to help aid with either The History of Astronomy or The Survey of Astronomy. This book also goes with a DVD also called Created Cosmos which both of my middle school kids loved.
