from the very beginning this individual did not have his facts straight. George floyd died of fentanyl and methamphetamine overdose. the police officers where not at the "wrong" address, breeona Taylor's apartment was in the search warrant, only when they where shot at, is when they returned fire. then he goes on talking about Michael brown in Ferguson, I'm surprise he didn't said he had his hands up when shot by the police officer. he then goes on how that racism is somehow persevered in the United States, name me one legislation that perseveres white supremacy, just 1. the United States is no racist country, read the declaration of independence and understand it. The declaration was made to create equal rights for every person and if it was intended for only a certain section of people, they would have left it as "rights of Englishmen".

after Tisby joined Ibram X Kendi's org, my suspicions were confirmed. the man does not believe in Christ. kendi denounces "savior theology", i.e. sinners need Jesus. Tisby uses Christ and Christian language to promote himself but what is going to happen when racism is cured? he will have nothing to fight and no money to make. he is the same as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. he is a fraud. his message is not the Gospel. it is: white colonialism bad (which doesn't even exist anymore) and black power good. be smart believers. avoid this man

Unfortunately, there is only a thin veneer of scripture here. It is mostly based on atheistic worldviews found in critical theories and secular psychology. This book is a human solution to a sin problem, not a God solution. Beware. You won't find God's way by asking the devil.

I am grateful for Jemar Tisby and his voice, especially in a time like today where eyes are starting to open up and see how prevalent and embedded racism is in the U.S. This book is very practical and is for anyone desiring to pursue racial justice. I feel encouraged and hopeful because of his writing and motivated for the journey of fighting racism. It is written from a Christian perspective, but if you do not identify as a Christian, I think you can definitely still benefit from his words.

Fighting racism is not just about how it changes the world - it is also about how it changes you.
