It is a book of 56 country stars who give you their favorite bible verse and a few paragraphs to explain what the verse means to them. You could use this as a daily devotional book, a just pick up and read, or a conversation piece. I like that it gives a new perspective to my favorite country stars and a few new stars that I am not familiar with that I now want to check out their music.
I would recommend this book to any country music fan and as a great gift book. I like how the book is inspiring and in the back of the book encourages the reader to choose their favorite bible verses and to reflect why they/you relate to the verse. I was very impressed with the hardcover, glossy pages and color photos.

BekeSpringfield, MOAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Beautiful Book!December 3, 2013BekeSpringfield, MOAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I think any fan of country music would be blessed to read through these artists' reflections. They were not only earnest, but they were also inspiring. You can tell that some of them came from a strong background of faith. It was also interesting to read that many of them shared the same favorite Scripture verse. I was particularly touched by Lorrie Morgan's reflections.
The book's design itself is very appealing. It is a sturdy hardcover with glossy pages. I think it would be a thoughtful gift for the Country Music Fan in your life.
Carrie ShindorfCosby, MissouriAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5What A Beautiful Book~November 22, 2013Carrie ShindorfCosby, MissouriAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Wow~ what a great quality book. The pictures are bright and glossy and just down right beautiful. This book is a collection of Country Singers who share their favorite verses and a short testimony how the verse has helped them in their personal lives. It includes the singers from today but also those from days gone by. It has been really neat to read each singer's testimony of faith.
The book says "Once A Day" implying it is a devotional but I would call it more of a testimonial of each of the artist.
The book is beautifully done. It has 56 reflections from singers and contains 112 pages. The book's goal is to inspire you to ponder on the question~ What is your favorite life's verse? At the end it shares the Gospel of Mark and reminds us of the most important thing in life~ the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It inspires you to spread the Good News which is what Once-A Day Country Faith is all about.
I rate this book 5 stars.
