Helen MAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Filled with action, suspense and mysteryJuly 17, 2023Helen MAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for Countdown (Extreme Measures Book #4) - eBook.Countdown, Extreme Measures book 4, by Lynette Eason is filled with action from the very beginning and continues through the whole book. This is a wonderfully written story filled with suspense, mystery and a growing relationship. I enjoyed the characters of Raina and Vince. They are caring people who put others' safety before their own. I felt for Raina as she changes her name and moves around to keep herself and others connected to her safe. Even though this is part of a series, it also makes a great stand alone story. I enjoyed catching up with characters from the previous books and seeing how faith pla ys a part in the story. This book captured my attention at the very beginning and held it to the very end, wishing there was more.
I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of the book as part of the launch team. This is my honest review. -
LM15OHAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5SuspensefulJuly 14, 2023LM15OHAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Raina Price has had to keep things in the past in order to protect herself and those she loves from a dangerous and vindictive killer. With plot twists and red herrings throughout the story, I was reading pages just as fast as I could.
I loved the friends that Raina has; the support that Vince gives her; the unknown stalker; and how the faith of the characters was woven throughout the story. While this is the last book in the series, it can be read by itself. If you enjoy authors like Elizabeth Goddard or Colleen Coble, you will like this book.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through the Launch Team Geek. A positive review was not required. All opinions are my own.

Karen5 Stars Out Of 5Great Book!July 13, 2023KarenCountdown by Lynette Eason is a must read suspense book. The reader is drawn into the book from the very beginning. The main characters, Raina and Vince, are both harboring secrets and regrets from their past. Raina has trust issues even where her best friends are concerned, and although she is in need of help, she hesitates to ask for it. Like many, she feels people, even those close to her, will judge her based on her past. As her story unfolds, the plot becomes more complex. For whatever reason, someone is trying to kill her; Vince is trying to keep her safe. Eason does an excellent job developing both major and minor characters. This book is a real page turner, and the reader will have difficulty putting it down.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. The opinions in this review are my own. -
CaroljoFarmington, MOAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Protecting OthersJuly 11, 2023CaroljoFarmington, MOAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Be sure you have some reading time when you start Countdown because you won't be able to put it down! Countdown is the fourth and final book in the Extreme Measure series so I expected it to be great and was not disappointed! We had met flight paramedic, Raina Price in earlier books but now we learned why she has kept a low profile. A young teenager is interviewed on national television and, unknowingly, starts a chain of dangerous and deadly events. I admired Raina for decisions she has made to protect others. I admired US Marshal Vincent Covelli for making the decision to protect Raina no matter what! If you are a fan of romance and danger, You won't want to miss Countdown! I received an advance copy of Countdown from Revell and an e-book through NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.

ButterflyreviewAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5CountdownJuly 9, 2023ButterflyreviewAge: 55-65Gender: femaleRaina sees a picture of a teen boy on television that starts the ball rolling for the fight of her life. She's on the run from a stalker. But she can't let that stop her from protecting the boy. Vince is a US Marshall, who is also a friend. He knows something isn't right and offers to help. The problem Raina has, is that everybody who has tried to help her in the past has ended up dead. As the story unravels, Raina has to determine who she is going to trust with her story or keep running. The stalker always seems to be one step ahead of her. He's determined to catch her. She's the run that got away.
I highly recommend this book. I couldn't put it down.
I was given this book by Revell Publishing via NetGalley for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.
