This book is the second in a series based on Jesus' teaching in the Parable of the Sower. Volume I introduces the teaching's principles and reviews the Gospel account of Jesus applying them in His role as the "Wonderful Counselor." Volume II is a review of Biblical treatment protocols for each of the three damaged soils/souls, and Biblical resiliency is examined and related to "good soil." In this fallen world, we encounter a constant barrage of afflictions and problems, and our main challenge is not the problems but our damaged capacity to deal with them. Harry refers to his personal restoration projects with the hope that the reader will identify their own restoration experiences. His goal is that the reader will be able to see themselves and others from God's viewpoint as the "Master Restorer." David recorded this level of insight in Psalm 23:3. "He restores my soul." Chapter four has been chosen as a Poster Presentation at the American Association of Christian Counselor's 2013 World Conference. Harry has been in the counseling field for over thirty-five years, with thirty as a Director/Manager of Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Treatment programs. In addition he has studied the entire Bible. From his combined training, experience and Biblical understanding, he presents his understanding of God's recovery program for us all. He earned his B.A. degree in Psychology from Millersville University and his M. A. degree in Counseling from Liberty University. He has been a Certified Addictions Counselor since 1979, Certified Clinical Supervisor since 1995 and a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2002.
