Steven W. Cooke was introduced to the organ transplant world when his kidneys failed in 1975, he was eighteen years old. In 1997 a liver virus required him to receive a liver transplant. Many set-backs both personal and medical have befallen Mr. Cooke, yet, he always springs back and has an up-beat attitude.
