Charlie - yup - Charlie - who is Charlie and what does he have to do with Joyce Meyers you ask well let me tell you. Charlie is the first thing you learn about in the book. Charlie is a man who only thinks, talks and walks negative. He makes everything and everyone miserable around him. He cannot hold down a job or relationship - accept his wife who somehow seems to put up with it - although I don't think she was going to take it for much longer I do not think - any who - his next job one of his co-workers asks him to church and he eventually says yes - while there he accepts our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST into his heart and he slowly starts to change from negative to positive - praise the LORD - he finally stayed at a job - and his marriage is better and his outlook is amazing - but it was his negative talk and thoughts that made himself and those around him miserable and no one wanted him around - it took JESUS to change him. MS. Meyers tackles a hard subject in this book - it is one that so many of us has to deal with - a lot of people have a harsh upbringing - negative words thrown at us - drilled into our psyche and so we begin to believe it and say it to ourselves but they are lies by the devil - but we alone can change it with JESUS. She lays out everything with Scripture - the only way to do it - if you suffer with this - this is the book for you - it is life changing. I received this book to read from Hachette in exchange for an honest review.

Joyce Meyer does it again. She truly has a grasp on the power of thoughts and expertly teaches us how to manage our mind. The Mind Connection is a practical book, straightforward and to the point; what you think and how you think affects your entire life. Joyce is a terrific writer and has produced yet another book that is transformational.

I am still reading The Mind Connection but I can so relate to this book it is helping me to be more aware of my thoughts and because of me being aware I am noticing that my mood, behavior, and decisions are getting better, I am a work in progress. But wow! Wish I would have gotten this book a long time ago.
