Author Bio

Haim Gitler currently serves as Chief Curator of Archeology at National Museum of Israel. He is also head of the Numismatic Society, Jerusalem Branch. Prior to joining the National Museum of Israel, he served as president of the Israel Numismatic Society and lectured at the Tel Aviv University. He has assisted in the development of ten Numismatic exhibitions. A renowned speaker and lecturer in archaeology and numismatics, Haim has published numerous books, articles, and catalogues. Haim received his BA in Archeology and Classical Studies and MA in Archeology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He completed his Ph.D. at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland. He currently resides in Jerusalem, Israel.
