These books are adorable. I just love them. They are quirky, cute, and silly... but yet at the same time they hit on some really true issues of family, family ties, expectations, and the dilemmas and missteps of falling in love. I think if you've ever been in love or if you come from a really tight-knit family or a small town... or a combination of all the above... you will find something to love and relate to in this series, "A Bride with Style".

The first book, Every Bride Needs a Groom, is Katie's story of getting dumped by Casey, finding her way to Dallas, and eventually meeting Brady James. You can read the review of that book HERE . This second book, Every Girl Gets Confused, is the Topsy-turvy tale of Katie, Brady, and Casey. What should she do? She's feeling pressure to stay in Dallas because of her new job and even bigger pressure to move back home "where she belongs", her heart is stuttering over the renewed attention of Casey, the boy she's loved her whole life, and the handsome, honorable Brady James who has recently captured her attention. She's in quite the dilemma.

These books are so much fun. I laughed out loud over Katie's crazy and eccentric aunt who thinks a Bluetooth is the same thing as a radio show opera and can't figure out how this 'radio show' knows who her family is! Too funny. This book was a great read; I would recommend the whole series.

Thank-you to Graf Martin Communications and Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group, for a complimentary copy of Every Girl Gets Confused in exchange for my honest opinion.

Nobody does romantic comedy better than Janice Thompson. When I'm in a slump I can always count on one of her stories to make me laugh.

'Every Girl Gets Confused' is the second book in the Brides with Style series. The story of Katie Fisher and Brady James continues as they get closer and closer. The only problem is Casey. You'll remember him from 'Every Bride Needs A Groom'. He's Katie's almost fiance.

Or at least Katie thought he was almost her fiance. Remember he ditched her at the last minute? Yeah that guy! Well he's back and he's looking to throw a wrench into Katie and Brady's relationship.

Katie and Brady aren't the only headline. Wait until you read about the transformation of Katie's cranky grandma Queenie. She's found love and it has turned her into a whole new woman. Plus there's much more going on with the rest of the family. I still want to be related to Aunt Alva and cousin Lori Lou. Those two tend to keep things lively.

If you are looking for a light-hearted read that won't numb your brain pick up this delightful book (or series). I think there is enough background info for you to read it without reading the first book but I would still recommend treating yourself and reading the first one just to be able to spend a little more time with these zany characters.

I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review.

This is the first time I have reviewed two books in a series and I am pleasantly surprised! The first book, Every Bride Needs a Groom, was underwhelming to me. It was fairly cliche and did not strike a chord with me. However, this book was markedly different. I really loved the characters in this book as I felt that they became more dimensional and realistic. Katie and Brady finally start dealing with real relationship problems and you see them struggle to make things work. As a woman in a relationship, communication struggles are very real and seeing Brady and Katie confront them was refreshing. I was worried re-introducing Casey would be awkward, yet it seemed very believable and I saw what Katie was struggling with. I loved some of the secondary stories as well, especially the ones involving Alva and Queenie. Janice Thompson did a great job writing her second book and I look forward to reading Every Bride Has Her Day, which is coming out this summer! 4/5 stars!

I received this book from Revel Publishers in exchange for my honest opinion.

For a lighthearted comedy spiced up with a little romance pick up a copy of Every Girl Gets Confused by Janice Thompson. Katie Fisher is back in book two of the Brides With Style Series. This time she is all settled into her job at Cosmopolitan Bridal and her relationship with handsome Brady James.

Wedding bells would be ringing soon enough for Katie but not before her grandmother Queenie marries Reverend Bradford. Back and forth trips to Fairfield to plan the bridal shower and a Thanksgiving visit puts Katie back in front of her ex-boyfriend and near fiance Casey. With Katie in Dallas and Casey back home in Fairfield he seems to have had a change of heart. Wouldn't Katie just like to go back to the way things were before?

Events don't always just fall into place. Katie grows a lot in this installment of the series and as she grows she learns a lot about love and what true love means. This book is targeted to the young adult audience and my copy will be passed along to a lovely young lady I know will enjoy it. I enjoyed reading it myself so I am sure we will have a lot of fun talking about the story!
