Tell us a little about yourself. I am a Christian wife, mother of three sons, former homeschooler and an early childhood educator. I love to encourage other Christians in their walk with the Lord, have served in church ministries and share the Gospel through the writing of non-fiction and fiction books.
What was your motivation behind this project? After growing up as a frequent church visitor and finding myself traveling to numerous churches I wrote "Confessions of a Church Hopper" as a means to inspire and uplift those who "hop", draw attention to the importance of church attendance, worship and service and what it truly means to be a member of the body of believers.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? It is my hope that the reader will feel understood and uplifted if they are a "hopper" or church traveler and that those who are seeking the Lord in their lives will not be judged by their traveling.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? This lifelong spiritual journey began as a child and has been explored through keeping journals and through prayer as I follow God's will for my life in all things, love the Lord and His people. It has brought me peace with my travels and an appreciation for the churches I have called home.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I love to read books by Max Lucado, Joyce Meyer whose insights into the scriptures delivered with humor and love continue to speak to me, Charles Stanley for the truth of God's Word that he shares in his writings and love to listen to country Gospel music.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: All of my "church hopping", studies, worship and service have brought me closer to the Lord as I share my testimony with others. My sincere thanks to the readers and to the "hoppers" who are seeking, may we all continue to seek Jesus until the day of His glorious return. Thank you for reading and I hope you will find this short story to be a blessing as I have been blessed by sharing it. Thank you and God Bless you.
