As students work through Exploring the World of Mathematics, they will learn about the many advancements and branches of mathematics that have been developed as people encountered problems and relied upon math to solve them. In the Exploring the World of Physics portion of the course, students will discover how physics really isn't that complicated: they'll learn how a feather and a lump of lead fall at the same rate and how the laws of motion and gravity affect everything from everyday life to launching rockets.
This course covers 1 year of science (worth .5 credit) at the recommended schedule of 30-45 minutes per lesson, 2 days per week. 36 lessons. One book completed per semester is suggested.
