Comfort cross, crafted by hand of real wood, is from the Holy Land. 2" long, with softly rounded edges, this comesin a cloth drawstring bag for storage. Useful for prayer time, and devotional quiet time. Packaged with explanatory story card. Personal size is ideal for travel.
I bought several of these to give as gifts and they have been received with great enthusiasm. They are beautifully made of olive wood, small enough for your hand, your purse, your pocket. Includes a little pouch to carry it in. What comfort it gives one in any situation - stressful time, prayer time - He is with us!
I love this little olive wood cross. I find it extremely comforting to just carry it in a pocket, I often reach in my pocket just to feel it there. It's like reminding me of Jesus' love for me in a tangible form. (And it's quite lovely, very well made and pleasing to the eye.) Highly recommended!
Beautiful, unless you receive one with large gouges or wood filler

I ordered four of these; two of them were beautifully unique with no defects, but two of them came with areas that were filled with wood filler. I can overlook a tiny bit of wood filler, but one in particular had a substantial chunk gouged out that was filled with wood filler to the point of being completely unacceptable quality-wise.
I'm aware that these crosses are hand-carved and will all have imperfections which give them unique character, but this was way beyond an imperfection; it was a defect that was covered with wood filler.
I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement. The replacement came with a big gouged out chunk missing (however, with no wood filler), but the gouge was huge, with rough, splintered pieces. I was shocked at the lack of quality control, especially considering that they're hand-carved. The two I received should never have been offered for sale as a first-run item.
CBD customer service has been very helpful and set me up to receive yet another replacement, but they are on back-order so it will be a while before I get the replacement. I don't want to hurt a small business with a negative review, especially because when properly crafted, these are beautiful, unique crosses. But I feel I must let the business (as well as other potential buyers) know that there's an issue with quality control.
