Publisher's Description

In her first book, Here Comes the Bridegroom Judy Grehan shows how the ancient Jewish wedding customs are the key that unlocks a long-lost treasure chest overflowing with biblical insight. Out spills breathtaking new understanding about the true relationship, not only between Jesus and the church, but also between God the Father and the Jewish people. And right behind them come new understanding about events yet to come, including the order of end-time events, and brand new insight into the rapture and the wedding banquet in heaven Take a step back-and forward-in time to discover how all the events of Jesus's first and second coming appear, one-by-one and in their proper order, as the ancient Jewish wedding customs progress from the proposal to the consummation-and beyond.

Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I have been studying and teaching subjects based on the Hebraic roots of Christianity for almost 20 years. I have edited all the books and magazines published by the Golden Key Press, the Restoration Fundation and the Hebraic Heritage Christian College for 15 years.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Whenever I taught or spoke on the connections between the ancient Jewish wedding customs and Jesus' relationship to the bride of Christ, the response was just overwhelming. People literally demanded I write this book.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope readers will: --Get a much clearer understanding about their true identity as a literal bride of Christ. --Learn what they should be doing to prepare for the moment Jesus returns for his bride. --Get a new understanding about the true relationship between God the Father and the Jewish people -- and the true relationship between Christians and Jews. --Discover who designed the ancient Jewish wedding customs, and why Jesus HAD to follow them from beginning to end, and in their proper order. --Discover the real reason why the Jewish people rejected Jesus as their Messiah and who is really responsible for it--and what will happen to them because of it. --Find answers concerning the order and timing of the events of the last days. --Discover entirely new details about the rapture and resurrection that have been hidden in plain sight in Scripture. --Finally see how all the pieces of prophecy concerning Christ and his bride fit together to form a clear picture of what what we are about to experience.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  What started out as a passing interest in the ancient Jewish wedding customs turned into an epic study that appeared to have no end. The more I studied it, the more unexpected details rose up out of Scripture. This book was almost completed when I wandered into the Old Testament and discovered something I had never heard anyone speak of before, but that required me to completely rewrite the book and add another 40%! Suffice it to say that there's a LOT about the relationship between God the Father and the Jewish people that has gone unnoticed or ignored, and all of it is in plain sight in the Scriptures!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  Source of inspitation: the Holy Spirit, who took off my blinders and opened my eyes to the treasures right there in the Scriptures that I somehow could never see before, no matter how many times I read them. I learned so much in this process and it has continued even after the book went to print. As for inspiration from authors, that would be primarily Dr. John D. Garr, whose books I edit and from whom I have learned much about Hebraic study methods and principles, which has led me on my own journey. As for favorite authors past and present (in no particular order): Chuck Missler Skip Moen E.W. Bullinger Gerald Schroeder Robert Faid John Gill Frances Schaeffer Kay Arthur Brad Young Patrick Heron Hal Lindsey All have multiple works on my book shelves and all played a part in inspiring me to dig deeply into Scripture, and teaching me how to do so.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  The subject of this book is just one of many that I have studied related to the Hebraic roots of Christianity and how that knowledge causes God's Word to open up like a flower to reveal myriads of previously hidden treasures. I have a website and a blog that I have been using to record it all. I am an Army veteran as are three of my four sons. My husband Rick and I live in rural New Hampshire.
