Author/Artist Review

Author: Karen Lansing
Located in: Santa Fe NM
Submitted: December 18, 2014

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm a wife, mother and grandmother of 7--living for the last 6 years in Santa Fe. My husband and I have been married for almost 40 years--with 26 of them within the military community.
I love the beautiful place that God has given us to live--and hope to continue to write what He desires. I also have 2 children's books published by Herald Press "Time to Fly" and "Time to be a Friend"

What was your motivation behind this project?  I love crafting a story, and within that story being able to show God's love for us.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I want the readers to enjoy the characters, engage with the trials and flow of life they read about and that we all encounter, and come away with a desire to pursue a relationship with Christ as Rebekah and Matt did.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I've struggled with the marketing aspect of the writing process--as every author does. I love my characters and have begun a sequel--exploring 2 other characters from "Come to the Feast" but don't know if I will do what it takes to publish!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  A wide range--I love Max Lucado and C.s Lewis--Stanley and Yancey for non-fiction Kingsbury, Debbie Macomber, Rice and others for fiction

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I love feedback--well, need it anyway:)--to help me push to me a better writer in future efforts!!
