I have never heard of John Ramirez but did a little research about his background given the back cover description of his past. His testimony alone is incredibly powerful - coming to Christ in the midst of being one of the most well-known satanic priests in the nation.

What I love first about this book is it's honestly and boldness in declaring the true battle believers face. Based on scripture, we know our battle is not with flesh and blood, but rather with the spiritual realm. We often forget this or choose to ignore it. Ramirez brings this point to the forefront immediately in his introduction: "...countless numbers of believers accept the phony theology that if we do no mess with the devil, he will not mess with us."

The prayers and scriptures are powerful if we choose to implement them as God intended. I appreciate Ramirez's background with the satanic world. He brings such a unique perspective to the spiritual battle we are in.

I believe his testimony is probably more eye-opening than his book of prayers. Both are a necessary read for believers to help them fully understand and grasp the reality of our spiritual battle.
