This set has helped him see what we mean by quarts, pints, gallons, etc. He now understands that 4 cups equal a quart, because he has done it with his own hands and seen it with his own eyes.
He has said that this makes learning fun and I can't ask for more than that as a homeschooling mom.
The only negative thing I have noticed is that occasionally lines do not match up. This can be seen on the gallon/2 liters bottle. The line for the gallon is in the correct place, but the other side of the container has the line for 2 liters up higher. This was a bit confusing for a new learner, but I am hoping that he understood my explaination and does not let it confuse him.
Slunecko5 Stars Out Of 5Just what I wantedNovember 16, 2010SluneckoQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I was going to make my own set of measurement tools out of jugs but this was such a good deal that I bought it. I am very happy I did. I really like how everything fits inside each other for storage. I recommend this product.
