I watched this movie with great anticipation knowing that Jefferson Moore wrote, directed, and acted in it. That being said, in my opinion this movie exceeded my expectations. If you have seen the Perfect Stranger movies and were moved by them, you should be overwhelmed by this one. The story was gripping, intimate, and emotional. The Gospel message was told so simply and effectively through the eyes and heart of a child. This movie is intense in spots especially at the beginning where the mother is portrayed as abusive, in the middle where a fight ensues, and the climax of the movie where guns are fired. However, I have to say, the scenes were necessary to develop the characters, plot, and finale. I would not recommend this movie for viewers under 10. Parents should screen the movie to see if it is appropriate for their children. All in all this movie is definitely a five star and ranks with the best Christian movies I have ever seen.
This was or is a very good movie. I think young and old will like this movie. It has no age limit. Very clean movie. No bad language, no violence, no nudity. Just a real pleasure to watch. It had a very good story line. Also Had a moral to it's story. I hope they keep making these movies.
