Tell us a little about yourself. I am a housewife, and the mother of a 21 year old daughter. I became a born-again Christian in 1992. I live near Gainsborough, Lincolnshire which is the place of origin of the Pilgrim Fathers. I love photography, reading, gardening and decorating and spending time at the seaside.
What was your motivation behind this project? Through a very painful and personal experience in October 2011, the message of this book was revealed to me by the Lord, compelling me to write this book as a result of that experience, and in obedience to the Lord's call
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I pray that the message of the book will lead believers to have a deep and life-transforming relationship with the Lord which will enable them to courageously examine the way they are living their lives on a daily basis before God, and lead them to confess and repent of any unrepentant sin that may exist in their lives, obey God's Word uncompromisingly, and make themselves ready for Jesus' return.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? The Lord took me through a painful revelation of the state of my own life, as a believer, in order to reveal to me what Jesus has to say about unrepentant sin within the Church. It had an extremely powerful impact on my life.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? John Eldredge, Joyce Meyer, Oswald Chambers, Gary Chapman
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I believe this is a timely and much needed book on the key issue of sin within the Church, which is largely overlooked and frequently ignored. In this book I re-tell the story of how the truth of this message was revealed to me and the effect it has had on my life. The book is packed with Scripture to confirm the message, exhorting us to examine our lives and make ourselves ready for Jesus' return.
