An excellent guide for church planters in the African American community. Simple straight forward, good case studies for what worked, and what didn't in church planting. It will help with sponsoring churches, denominations, and sponsoring church pastors. It will certainly prepare the church planter for what's ahead. If the African American church planter is at the stage of thought and not action. Meaning, that they haven't met with others (sponsors/demoninational leaders) yet this is a great resource to have ahead of time.
