It is a very readable book that is written in such a way that it will hold your interest. I was never bored from page 1 until the last page. I learned a lot about church history - especially the early church and how different groups broke away from Roman Catholicism and why. Anyone who is interested in church history would vastly enjoy this book. I have yet to be disappointed by any product I have purchased at Christianbook.com.

I would recommend having a good collegiate dictionary on hand. It is a useful addition to my reference library.
