Publisher's Description
▼▲Who was in the manger that first Christmas morning? Some say he would become a great moral leader. Others, a social critic. Still others view Jesus as a profound philosopher, a rabbi, a feminist, a prophet, and more. Many are convinced he was the divine Son of God. Who was hereally? And how can you know for sure? Consulting experts on the Bible, archaeology, and messianic prophecy, Lee Strobel searches out the true identity of the child in the manger. Join him as he asks the tough, pointed questions youd expect from an award-winning legal journalist. If Jesus really was God in the flesh, then there ought to be credible evidence, including Eyewitness EvidenceCan the biographies of Jesus be trusted? Scientific EvidenceWhat does archaeology reveal? Profile EvidenceDid Jesus fulfill the attributes of God? Fingerprint EvidenceDid Jesus uniquely match the identity of the Messiah? BR1 Stars Out Of 5The Case For ChristmasNovember 25, 2017BRQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1This review was written for The Case for Christmas: A Journalist Investigates the Identity of the Child in the Manger.I was Catholic for 43 years and after studying the whole new testament I really struggled but finally came to the conclusion that Roman Catholicism started in around 315 with the emperor Constantine who was a sun worshipper all his life. He was murdering the Christians until one day he supposedly had a revelation and converted to Christianity.
The truth is that he hijacked Christianity and forced all his pagan beliefs on the Christians by issuing decrees. For one forcing Christians who were gathering together on the seventh day (Sabbath) to worship on the first day (Sun-day) in honor of his sun god.
God Bless
He called sunday "The veverable day of the sun." The birthday of the sun god was always December 25. The winter solstice being the 21 and 3 days later they believed that the sun god was reborn and the day light hours began to become longer. This was celebrated Thousands of years before the Messiah. Satan had those people blinded and is trying to destroy true Christianity with the same things.
This book is trying to defend a Pagan tradition that goes back long before Christ.
There are many verses that condemn Christmas trees and these traditions etc. Another fact to consider is that Christmas is really
"Christs Mass" after the Catholic sun-god (Eucharist). Please study these things and find out for yourself. Please watch Jim Staleys video
"Truth or tradition". It will really open your eyes.
Please study the scriptures old and new to know the true Christ! -

LW5 Stars Out Of 5Great gift for sharing the GospelDecember 28, 2016LWQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for The Case for Christmas: A Journalist Investigates the Identity of the Child in the Manger.I enjoyed reading The Case for Christmas and found the evidence that Lee Strobel presented to be very compelling. I thought that this would be a great way to share the Gospel so I ordered multiple copies to give as gifts to the non-Christian guests at the our church's Christmas banquet this year.
