This was one of the sweetest movies in a while. Everyone sacrificed to make someone else's Christmas brighter. My teens loved the movie. We got a couple of Christmas movies and this was their favorite. Yes, started off a little slow but we all loved the love and unity in the family.

These video was very cheesy, B-rated, and predictable. The title of the DVD should be "Christmas Not Worth a Dollar."

Loved sitting and watching this one. Great lesson for the family. A little poor acting at the beginning but turned out well.

The Walton's Christmas movie captured the spirit of The Great Depression better. My grandparents lived it, and they were a distinct people because of it. This is too modern- no bobbed hair, men with too long of hair, a dime given when asked for a penney, a picture from the 1980s, perfect paint on everything, nice cars. Look, nobody had money, much less money to keep everything perfect. The acting wasn't good by most of the characters. You lost your dog...well, I'm not really that sad. The horse terribly wounded walks back to the stable.
