While many Christians are bemoaning their faith's decline, Gabe Lyons is optimistic that Christianity's best days are yet to come. In the wake of the stunning research from his bestselling book, unchristian, which revealed the growing disenchantment among young generations for Christians, Lyons has witnessed the beginnings of a new iteration of the faith.
Marked by Lyons' brutal honesty and unvarying generosity, Lyons exposes a whole movement of Christians-Evangelicals, Mainline, Protestants, Orthodox, Pentecostals, and others-who desire to be a force for restoration even as they proclaim the Christian Gospel. They want the label Christian to mean something good, intelligent, authentic, and beautiful.

NickinooUK3 Stars Out Of 5October 18, 2010NickinooUKThis is another book about the state of Christianity in America and how it is to survive in the next few years. The author compares the different positions of Christianity between his homeland and Europe, hoping that it won't get to the state it is in the latter right now.
I did enjoy hearing the stories of various Christians who are living out their faith, by purposely living in the real world and not hiding away in their Christian bubbles. This was like a breath of fresh air and very encouraging in one respect, but sad in that it seems there so few of believers doing what the Church should be doing naturally.
I thought the author's explanation of the differences between various Christians was excellent and very helpful. It certainly helped me identify the different positions I think Iââ¬Ëve been living out my Christian life over the years.
Gabe Lyons' narration is excellent, making it a enjoyable listening experience. It is a postive listen which will encourage and challenge a lot of believers out there to take a risk and get involved with real people for the right reasons.
