So disappointed about the portrayal of the 2nd part of a great book, Pilgrim's Progress. Being a low budget film, I know that some of the book content has to be left out in a movie, but many of the most critical parts of the book were omitted and didn't attempt to follow the book as written. For example, in the book Christiana has 3 sons, and in the movie she has 2 sons and a daughter. Also Mercy is portrayed as such a wimpy, scared character and not the wise, prudent woman outlined in the book.
The price is definitely not worth what you get. Hoping a better version will be made available in the near future.
This movie was not what I expected and was not the quality of Pilgrim's Progress just released. The acting skills were those of a high school play and special effects were B movie quality. I was disappointed but after all this is about Christiana's journey to salvation. I would recommend renting and not buying the DVD.
