Publisher's Description

About the author and the book Clement Rajaratnam Prabakaran was born in Tanjore, India to God fearing Christian parents Alice and Richard Rajaratnam. Per family custom, Clement Prabakaran was baptized and raised in Madras as an Anglican in the Church of South India. When Prabakaran and wife Prema moved to Detroit, Michigan as newly married couple, they became members in the local Episcopal Cathedral Church of St. Paul in 1971. They continue to be members at The Cathedral and live in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Christian poems are about the main personalities in the Bible from Old Testament and New Testament. Other Christian themes are in short poem form to keep the attention of the reader be it young or otherwise to focus on Jesus Christ mission in this world. The poems were started in 2011, the four hundredth anniversary of the Authorized or King James Version of the Bible on which all poems are based. I thank The Very Reverend Dr. S. Scott Hunter, Dean of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Detroit, Michigan for the foreword to this book. His input and guidance was invaluable to this book and is much appreciated. "Thanks Be To God For His Unspeakable Gift" II Corinthians, Verse 15 C. R. Prabakaran January 15, 2014
